Direct Mail Postal Discounts
Your UK mailing or marketing campaign is eligible for this service if it consists of a uniform message to all addressees, with the purpose of promoting the sale or use of products or services, or to encourage contribution to, or support of a cause. The minimum requirements are 1000 letters* or 250 large letters*, via a 1st or 2nd class postal service.
If your mailing does not qualify as Advertising Mail, Holborn Direct Mail can save you substantial costs on your postage via our Business Mail contract with Royal Mail. No minimum requirements, via a 1st or 2nd class postal service.
If your UK mailing or marketing campaign consists of at least 4000 letters* or 1000 large letters* with accurate postcodes, we sort your data file, which separates it into coded groups. When the mailing has been addressed and enclosed, we label and pack the bags according to the code, ready for distribution to each area.

- 2nd class delivery service (2-3 working days after posting)
- Economy is a more delayed posting (up to 4 working days after posting), and carries a higher discount, ideal if your mailing is not so urgent.
This mailing service is available to publishers of magazines, journals or newsletters, at discounted postal prices. In order to qualify, you must mail a minimum quantity of 1000 large letters*, A3 packets or packets, at least twice a year, and your item must contain at least one sixth editorial. Most postal services are now liable to VAT at the standard rate, which many businesses can reclaim.
For those organisations that cannot reclaim VAT, there is a 1st and 2nd class postal service that is VAT exempt. In line with the other payment channels of stamps, online & meters, this service does not offer any discounts for volume.
